“Tokyo Kinder Film Festival” is Japan's the Biggest
International Film Festival for Children.
Features of TOKYO KINDER FILM
1. From the latest films from Berlin to household names
TKFF presents popular animation films and premiers to Japanese audiences the best films from “Kinder Film Fest Berlin," the world’s largest children’s film festival. The richness of the film programs is the main attraction of the festival.
2. “Live” voice-over by voice actors
TKFF screens most of its films with “live” voice-overs by voice actors for those who are too young to read subtitles.
3. Kinder Bird Award by Kinder Juries
Ten children are publicly selected for the Kinder Jury and award the Best Kinder Film Award among the ten competing films.
4. Guests from all around the world
Numerous guests from outside of Japan visit TKFF every year.
5. Filmmaking & Voice-Over Work shop
TKFF is not just about watching movies. A two hours practice session taught by an experienced voice actor culminates in a performance in front of a live audience!
