1st Kinder Film Fest Japan (1992)
We screened 6 long films, 7 short films and 4 Japanese films for children. For the first time in Japan, 10 children juries took part in the festival and selected the awarded film. Renate Zylla, the former director of Kinder Film Fest Berlin, the part of Berlin International Film Festival, came to Japan and since then she has been supporting the Kinder Film Festival.
2nd Kinder Film Fest Japan (1993)
We screened 5 long films and 9 short films. 10 children juries from the public participated in the festival and selected the awarded film. Janne Citran, the animator from Canada, had workshops with children.
3rd Kinder Film Fest Japan (1994)
We screened 7 long films and 6 short animation films. 11 children juries from the public took part in the festival and selected the awarded film. Plus, we invited 5 international guests from Germany, Australia, the UK and China and they had workshops with children.
