7th Kinder Film Fest Japan (1999)

We screened 4 long films, 11 short animation films and many films from the visual library at Aoyama Round Theatre/Children’s Castle. Greg Lawson, the animator from the Netherlands, had workshops with children and talk show on animation.

8th Kinder Film Fest Japan (2000)

We screened 3 long films and 10 short animation films.With cooperation of BBC, British TV station, we screened “Teletubbies” and made play room of that animation. Plus, with cooperation of Aoyama Round theatre/Children’s Castle, Japan Animation Association and Canadian Embassy, Co Hoedeman, the animator from Canada, had workshops with children and screening his animation films.

9th Kinder Film Fest Japan (2001)

We screened 5 long films, 4 animation films and 9 special featured films (short animation films). From 9th festival, we have invited voice actors/actresses from Yoyogi Animation Gakuin as the lecturers of voice-over workshops with children.

10th Kinder Film Fest Japan (2002)

We screened 4 long films, 5 animation films and 6 special featured films. Dave Unwin, the animator from the UK, had workshops with children. Children juries and children MCs from the public participated in the festival.
