Let’s look behind the scenes to learn about the making of movies and animation!
At the "Voice actor Experience Workshop"(Click the link below to see more), participants are instructed by professional voice actors and get first-hand experience doing voice-over short films. The "Movie/Animation Making Workshop"(Click the link below to see more) is presented by experienced movie directors and animators. And there are many other workshops available for participation! A great chance to experience the spirit of movies!
■Let`s play with "Water" "Water Pistol Painting Workshop"
A huge magic paper sized ２M×６M that can be colored and painted with water serves as the canvas for this Kinder Film Festival workshop. We take photos of everyone while they were painting. What will happen when we play back all the photos at high speed?!

■ Reuse your "Paper-fan ticket" as a "Wonder Board",
This year’s ticket is a round paper fan with the image of the film festival’s “director” Koma-chan. And if you play with it a little, it turns into flipbook animation. Everyone who purchases a ticket can enjoy making their own flipbook animation of Koma-chan! (The instructions for how to turn it into animation are on the back of paper-fan ticket)
What is the "Wonder Board"? It is a paper disc which has a series of pictures drawn around its circumference, and between every picture there are a series of radial slits. When you spin the disc and look through the moving slits at the disc’s reflection in a mirror, then you can enjoy the animated pictures just like watching a movie. You can also enjoy it as loop animation play by taking video of the spinning disk!
■Voice Actor Experience Workshop
The popular "Voice Actor Experience Workshop" is available for participation
without prior reservation this year!
Voice actors will teach how bring films and animations a life with their
voices. Let’s try dubbing 5~10 minute short films!

■The Learning about Film / Animation Creation Experimental Workshop
This year you can participate in this workshop without prior reservation.
In this workshop directors and guests from overseas talk about the secrets
of how movies and animation are made. After watching movies, you can ask
them directly about movie making.
The workshops are all conducted in Japanese.
